The Petite Malle miniaturises Louis Vuitton's trunk-making heritage into a wearable object — corner caps, S-lock, strap plates and all, shrunk to the scale of an evening bag.
This example is worked in black leather with a cut-through openwork Monogram panel revealing a red ground beneath, finished entirely in matte black hardware. The effect is graphic and unusually dark for a house that rarely tones its hardware down.
